My father was stationed at WAFB from ’63 to ’66. We lived at 38 & 6 W Byrne. I have a question in regards to a mural that I believe was on the wall at the officers club. Someone once told me it was a Peter Hurd mural and I was wondering if anyone has heard the same and if so, what became of it? I still remember the days spent in the swimming pool at the club very fondly.

Good afternoon,
My name is David Robertson. I’m a pilot for Frontier Airlines and just published a book called Standby for Higher which looks at the many paths that pilots take as they pursue careers in aviation. I’d love to send you a copy to see if you have any interest in stocking it in your museum store if there’s a good address I can send it to. I’ve also attached a link to the book’s Amazon page below.
